Program is worked out to provide with modern medical equipment the State and Municipal Medical Institutions which have been already treating and giving other medical aid to persons suffered from Chornobyl disaster and other persons being under Ukrainian Law dated February, 28 1991 № 796 – XXII, members of All–Ukrainian Association of Veterans & Disabled of Chernobyl.
Program is valid on condition that members of All–Ukrainian Association of Veterans & Disabled of Chernobyl apply to Foundation the official personal written applications to be included to this Program and applications for providing with specific medical equipment. Applications should be approved by signature of Chief Doctor and stamped by medical Institution.
Due to international partners and assistance of proper local authorities the implementation of this Charity Program will give true opportunity to attract to Ukraine considerable medical equipment investments on charity basis.
In particular, modern medical equipment ordered by medical institutions will be used to treat and examine the patients. Members of All–Ukrainian Association of Veterans & Disabled of Chernobyl will obtain free treatment and examination at medical institutions due to medical equipment received on charity basis.
According to the terms of this Program, medical specialists while using this medical equipment will have opportunity to improve their skills at proper international medical centers abroad.
In some complicated cases the proper leading international specialists will be involved to conduct surgery with the help of this medical equipment.
Further developing this program together with international partners, mobile specialized diagnostic laboratories will be used to make researches connected with specific diseases of citizens suffered from Chornobyl disaster and those who live on radioactive polluted areas.
